Evelyn A. Leake, age 80 of Baraboo died at St. Clare Hospital on Friday, March 7, 2014 after a long illness. She was born on Jan. 23, 1934 in Denzer to Alfred and Ida (Wawrok) Raedel. Evelyn was united in marriage to Daniel Leake in July of 1955. She was employed by Amrock for many years in Rockford, Ill. Evelyn was a member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Baraboo. In her free time, she enjoyed camping.Survivors include, her sister Helen Meske of North Freedom; brothers, Alfred (Robin) Raedel and Vernon Raedel, all of Wisconsin Dells; she is further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband Dan; her parents and brother, Lawrence Raedel.Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Reedsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
