Marveline Mae (Stanek) Weinke, age 75 of the Townships of Freedom and Woodland, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Our House in Wisconsin Dells. She was born on September 8, 1938 to Robert and Hermena (Plahetka) Stanek. On May 11, 1963, she was united in marriage to Wayne Weinke. He preceded her in death in 2008. She attended and graduated from Wonewoc High School in 1956. Marveline had been employed as an assembly line worker at Reedsburg and Sauk City canning factories. She also worked at Wisconsin Cheeseman and the Shopper Stopper. She dearly loved her cats and thoroughly enjoyed fishing, canning, and baking.She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Chuck) Gibson of Plain; Darlene (Roger) Frommung, Jr. of Rock Springs, and four grandchildren, Wayne and Danny Frommung and Justin and Allison Gibson; two sisters, Mary Warn and Jeanette Benseman, both of Reedsburg; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Wayne, Marveline was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Redlin Funeral Home in Baraboo with Pastor Jesse Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom. Friends may call on Monday, from 11 a.m. until the time of services, at the funeral home.
