David W. Niles


David W. Niles, 76, passed away on February 3, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells. David, son of John and Helen (Neuzum) Niles was born on November 29, 1937 in Baraboo. David worked for Badger Ordnance for over 20 years as a pipe fitter. He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 until he was honorably discharged in 1960. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bird watching. David loved the outdoors, even just walking through the woods. He loved to read, especially Louis L'amour, and was a fan of John Wayne movies.David is survived by his former wife, Joyce Reinchhoff; children, Sharon (Philip Lueck) Barton, Michael (Saundra) Niles, Timothy Niles, and James (Brandy) Niles; grandchildren, Heather (Roger), Shawn, Mathew, and Joshua (Lauren); great-grandchildren, Cassie, Jasmeen, Jacob, and Keagan; siblings, Steven (Helen) Niles, Philip (Sue) Niles, Janice (Jerry) Ward, Chris (Kenneth) Wilder, Catherine Dreifke, Barbara Smith, Paula Blake, John "Jack" Niles, Judith Sutton, and Martha Harding; further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gordon Niles; two brothers-in-law, Clyde Sutton and Robert Dreifke; great-grandson, Landon.Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home, with Pastor Jonathan Tipton officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the Baraboo Veterans Honor Guard, at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
