Donald Dean Radel

Donald Radel, age 81, of Baraboo passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells. He was born on Sept. 1, 1932 in Baraboo. Donald was united in marriage to Marjorie Pickarts on Jan. 13, 1993. Donald enjoyed fishing and working on cars.He is survived by his wife Marjorie; his children, Joseph (Kathy) Alvin of Rock Springs, Jeffrey Alvin of Hill Point, Lisa (Steve) Weldy of Wisconsin Dells, Lori (Greg Martin) Alvin of Baraboo;10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; as well as cousins, Virgil Schneider, and Donna Roger; and many other relatives and friends.Donald is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and step-daughter Linda Alvin.A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave., with Father Mike Richel officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
