Mary L. Krueger

Mary L. Krueger, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at her home with family by her side. Mary, daughter of Noble and Harriet (Hood) Sprecher was born Sept. 26, 1937 in Baraboo. She graduated from Baraboo High School. Mary worked as a dental assistant for many years. On Nov. 30, 1957 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Krueger at Emanuel United Methodist Church in Baraboo. Mary and Dick were married for over 51 years, throughout those 51 years they enjoyed spending time with their children and watching their family grow. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2008.Survivors include her children, Matthew (Diane) Krueger of Baraboo, Kelley (Mike) Cory of Verona, Todd (Dana) Krueger of Wisconsin Dells, Jerry (Yogie) Krueger of Madison; seven grandchildren, Renee (Jason) Stelzer of Baraboo, Jacob (Sarah) Krueger of Reedsburg, Quinn Cory of Verona, Wyatt Cory of Verona, Joshua Krueger of Wisconsin Dells, Sabrina Krueger of Madison, and Alexa Krueger of Madison; four great grandchildren, Peyton and Isaac Stelzer of Baraboo, Kendall and Grant Krueger of Reedsburg; three brothers, John Sprecher of Baraboo, Rod (Jackie) Sprecher of Baraboo, Bud (Demi) Sprecher of LaValle; and two sisters, Nola Sprecher and Sheri Schell, both of Baraboo.She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick; brother, George Sprecher; sister, Bonnie Cole; sisters-in-law, Barbara Sprecher and Rayta Hathaway; and brothers-in-law, Bill Cole, Tom Schell and Skip Krueger.Mary was a very loving, compassionate person who always put others first. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.In accordance with Mary's wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
