Ruth Hodge

Ruth (Keding) Hodge, age 88, of Baraboo went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 4, 2013 at St. Clare Hospital. Ruth was born on April 26, 1924 to Arthur and Adriana (Van de Wege) Keding . She married Earl Hodge on June 14, 1941 in Wisconsin Rapids.Ruth was a member of the Emanuel United Methodist Church of Baraboo. She worked on the family farm and on wells with her husband and son.Ruth is survived by her children, Earl Hodge, Jr. and Gail (Larry) Cuff; grandchildren, Jason (Crystal) Cuff, Jeremy Cuff, Betty Miller, and Natalia Showman-Hodge; great-grandchildren, Haelee Miller, Westbrook, Adrian, Reese, and Landon Cuff, and Alexia Wendt; sister-in-law, Mary Keding; brother, Jim (Betty) Keding. She is further survived by many nieces; nephew; other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl in 1998; brothers, Lawrence, Eugene, Earl, and Bobby Keding; sisters, Alice Sleper and Happy Schmidtke; and sisters-in-law, Grace and Margaret Keding.Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 9, 2013 at the Emanuel United Methodist Church with Pastor Blake Overlien officiating. Visitation will be held on Fri., Feb. 8, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home and at the church on Sat. from 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at the Webster Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
