Robert Thomas Cleven, ReedsburgRobert "Bob" Thomas Cleven, age 54 of Reedsburg, formerly of Baraboo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at his home. Bob, the son of the late Edward Morris and Betty Jane (Friedl) Cleven, was born on August 5, 1958 in Madison.Bob enjoyed wrestling and sports, especially the Badgers and the Packers. He loved music and was an avid Kiss fan, having been able to identify any of their songs within the first few bars. Bob was a very outgoing person and genuinely loved talking to people. He was affectionately known as "the greeter".He is survived by his four siblings, Linda (Travis Ewing) Handel of North Freedom, Laureen (Chuck) Maloney of Madison, Bruce Cleven of Sauk City, and Jane Swyrtek of Middleton; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Morris, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Avenue, in Baraboo. Private inurnment will take place in the Black Earth Cemetery.The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Sauk County Department of Human Services for their many years of compassionate care and guidance.
