Elaine D. Radel

Elaine D. Radel of Baraboo passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at St Clare Meadows. Elaine was born on July 12,1924 to Roy and Martha (Martin) Taylor in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Frederick Radel on August 8, 1949 in Sidney, Montana.Elaine was a very giving person who thoroughly enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers.She is survived by her three children James (Mary) Radel of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Sharon Zuch of Baraboo, and Sandra (Gary) Koberstein of Baraboo; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Marilyn Taylor of Baraboo; nephews, nieces; other family and friends.Preceding Elaine in death are her parents, Roy and Martha, her husband Frederick, two brothers Donald and Duane; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank-you to her "extended family", the CNAs and staff at St. Clare Meadows for their loving care and support as well as the staff of Redlin Funeral Home.
