Stanley Swanson

Stanley Swanson, 75, of Waupun passed away on Monday, October 8th, 2012 at his home. Stanley was born November 10, 1936 to Clarence and Della (nee Jorg) Swanson. He married Dona Fish on December 25, 1979 at the Swanson Motel.Stanley owned and operated Swanson's Motel, with his wife, for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching T.V. and pulling pranks. He was a long time member of the Elk's Club.Stanley is survived by his dear wife, Dona; a son Stanley Jr.; 4 step-children, Rocky, Aquila, and Sam Wenz, Naomi (Terry) Cook; 8 step-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Swanson.A Funeral Service for Stanley will be held on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. (noon) at the Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Bauman officiating. Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2012 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home, until time of services. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
