Harlan E. Buelow


Harlan E. Buelow, age 80 of Baraboo passed away Friday, June 21, 2019. Harlan, son of Harley and Reva (Hanger) Buelow was born May 2, 1939. He was drafted into the US Army on Jan. 23, 1962 and was honorably discharged on Feb. 3, 1964 after serving in Germany. He married Brenda Marshall, in that union two daughters were born; Holliday and Heidee. On April 2, 1980 he was united in marriage to Janiece Teske in Palmyra, Missouri. Harlan was employed by Neco Hammond in Baraboo for over 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking; making wooden toys for his grandchildren or the many benches he has made that are all over Baraboo. He also enjoyed welding and will be known for his joy of collecting. He was a member of B.A.T.S. Harlan enjoyed spending time with his faithful companion, Sparky.He is survived by his wife, Janiece; children, Holliday (Doug) Boyd and Heidee (Donald) Rogge, Rita (Jim) Zimmerman, Ed Teske, Patti Rich (Rob Phelps); siblings, Richard (Lexy) Buelow, Bonnie (Donald) Evenson; sister-in-law, Adele Buelow; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Gene Buelow and Bradley Buelow.In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. If desired, memorials may be made to the family to be used toward Parkinson's Research or Diabetes Association.
