Robert `Bob` Wagner , Age 74

September 11, 1952 --October 18, 2026

Robert "Bob" Wagner, age 74, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a brief illness with myasthenia gravis.

Bob was born on September 11, 1952, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, to Ervin and Dorothy Wagner. At the age of six, he moved with his family to Baraboo, Wisconsin, where he would spend the rest of his life building a beautiful legacy.

A man of remarkable work ethic, Bob held various jobs throughout his life, but his work home was at Teel Plastics. He dedicated 38 years to the company before his retirement. It was during his time at Teel that Bob met the love of his life, Carla. The couple was married on August 17, 1985, blending their lives and her family together.

Bob took great pride in his family and loved Carla’s three children as his own. On his very last day of life, Bob shared how much he loved all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and how very much he will miss each and every one of them. His warmth, dedication, and final words of love will be forever cherished by his family. He was an amazing husband (honey bunny), father and grandpa.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister and brother.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Carla; his children, Jack Seaton, Chadd (Heather) Seaton, and Kelly (Jamie) Graff; as well as his adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his dear friends. He is further survived by his siblings, Jeno (Bob) Foss, Russ (Katie) Wagner, Bill (Gina) Wagner. He was loved and will be missed by all.

A private family service will be held this fall. A public celebration of life will be held at Devil’s Lake in the Spring. The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
