Donald Eugene `Don` Curry

Donald Eugene “Don” Curry, age 91, of Baraboo, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo.

Don was born to Lee and Emma (Capener) Curry on December 1, 1934. He worked as a janitor in the UW school systems until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood, farming cows and playing the slots.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Teresa Littlegeorge, Tracy Heidemann, Tammy (Donald) Ouimet, Todd (Sylvia) Kluender, Tim Kluender, Lori (Craig) Smith, Danny (Donna) Curry, Kathy (Gary) Phinney, Rich (Vickie) Friedeck, Karen Huntley, John Curry, Allyn Zana; as well as other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger Curry, Ed Curry and Lee Curry; and sisters, Alice Zana and Ruth (Eugene) Kluender.

A time of visitation will be held at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Inurnment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Don’s name.
