Karen Lou Schulze

Karen L. Schulze, age 88, of Baraboo, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at home with family by her side. Karen, daughter of Arthur and Ramona (Kleist) Towers was born April 5, 1938, in Portage. On November 2, 1963, she was united in marriage to Jon Schulze at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo.

She has been a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo since 1949.

Survivors include her siblings, Gary Towers of Racine and Margo (Anees) Hemaidan of Baraboo; daughter-in-law, Darcy Schulze; granddaughter, Taylor Schulze; special nieces, Tami Tangney and Tiffani Sherman as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jon; sister-in-law, Cheryl Towers and her son, James W. Schulze.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Section S.
