Enain Emily Gardner, age 74, of West Baraboo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on July 25, 1951, Enain was a cherished daughter of Charles and Virginia (Dempsey) Ramsey. Growing up in a large, bustling household, she learned early on that family was life’s greatest treasure—a belief she carried with her every single day. Enain’s greatest joy was found in the family she built. She was a deeply devoted mother to her two daughters and a proud, doting grandmother. Her warmth extended beyond her human family, as her beloved four-legged companions always held a special, spoiled spot in her heart. For many years, Enain brought her dedicated work ethic to Springs Window Fashion until her well-deserved retirement. In her quieter moments, she loved nothing more than losing herself in a good book, challenging her mind with puzzles, or sharing a laugh over games with the people she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, unconditional love, and beautiful memories.
Her memory will be forever treasured by her loving daughters, Amy LaMarche and April (Charlie) McGee; her cherished granddaughters, Amanda (Conor) Fitzgerald and Olivia McGee; her extended family member, Dan LaMarche; and a close-knit circle of siblings, relatives, and lifelong friends.
Survivors include her brothers, David (Gloria) Ramsey, Carlyle (Jodi) Ramsey, Cyril (Joni) Ramsey; sisters, Kay (Jack) Birch, Pearl (Don) Schellenberger, Pauline Roberts, Lucy Reichhoff, Penny Carter; brother-in-law, Roger Hudzinski; sister-in-law, Olive Ramsey, Polly Ramsey and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Enain was reunited in eternity with her parents and the dear siblings who passed before her.
Brothers- Raleigh, Paul, and Ted Ramsey and Sisters- Eva Hooker, JoAnne Kinzler, Johanna Fry, Judy Hudzinski, Carol Birch and Daunnene Hooker.
Private burial will be held at Rock Hill Cemetery at a later date, where she will be laid to rest.
Memorials may be made to Amy LaMarche and April McGee (708 Park St Baraboo WI 53913).
The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
