Daniel Alex “Danny” Cseri, age 89, of Reedsburg, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at home with his daughter by his side. Daniel, son of John and Elizabeth (Zrebnyak) Cseri, was born December 30, 1936 in Carrollville, WI.
On December 7, 1957, he was united in marriage to Kathleen S. Schill in South Milwaukee; she preceded him in death on December 15, 2016. Danny was a gifted crafter, inventor and woodworker. He loved to build and fly remote control airplanes. Never one to be idle, he did counted cross-stitch to keep his hands busy.
Together, Danny and Kathy owned and operated Fox Hill RV Campground for 29 years. Danny provided the skill, talent and aptitude to fix just about anything. As he often would say “jack of all trades, master of none”. His ability to think outside the box to build, create or fix anything was awe inspiring.
Danny flew with the U.S. Air Force for 22 years in the reserves and served 8 years of active duty. He was happiest in the skies and could recognize any plane that flew over the house purely by the sound of its engine. Upon his honorable discharge, Danny attained the rank of Master Sargeant.
Survivors include his daughters, Cynthia (Tina Straw) Cseri and Christina (Edward) Catterson; brother, John M. Cseri of Oak Creek; brothers-in-law, Michael (Jo) Schill of Milwaukee, Ken Keller of Littleton, CO; sister-in-law, Suzanne McCormick of Texas; nephews, Nick Johnson, Nathan (Jessa Allen) Keller, Michael (John Robert) Cseri; nieces, Dana (Ryan) Gacnik, Kathryn Cseri, Jeanne (Greg Martin) Cseri-Martin, Jill Cseri, Susan (Frank) Bunker; great-nephews, Niko, Vincent and Alex Johnson and Ben Gacnik; grandsons, John, James, and Jacob Catterson; special friend, Dyan Winkers; as well as many friends and relatives.
