Janiece Eleanor (Shew) Teske–Buelow

Janiece Eleanor (Shew) Teske–Buelow, age 92, of Baraboo, was embraced by her heavenly father on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Janiece, the daughter of John and Eleanor (Zuch) Shew, was born on December 15, 1933, in Baraboo. She spent her life raising her four children and working hard to provide for them. She married the love of her life, Harlan Buelow, in a little brown church in Palmyra, MO. They shared 40 wonderful years together until his passing on June 21, 2019.

In her free time, Janiece enjoyed bowling and ceramics. She loved spending time with her best friend, Harlan. After their retirement together, from Neco-Hammond, they enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and visiting casinos. Most of all, Janiece cherished time spent with her family.

Janiece is survived by her children; Edwin, Patti, and Heidee. She is further survived by Mary and Holliday, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harlan; her daughter, Rita; as well as sisters, Norma LaRosa and Lanie Jones.

Per Janiece’s wishes, no memorial service is planned.
