Hallie Lynn Helms , Age 22
Hallie Lynn Helms, age 22, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025. She is the youngest daughter of Darin and Miriam Helms and was born on December 12, 2002 in Baraboo.
Hallie was a gifted artist as well as an avid gamer, and enjoyed playing video games like Minecraft, Splatoon, and Legend of Zelda. After graduating from Baraboo High School in 2021 she pursued and achieved a B.A. Elementary Education Degree at UW-Platteville in 2025.
Hallie is survived by her parents, Darin and Miriam; sisters, Beth and Alyssa Helms; aunts and uncles, Dori Helms, Dana (Vic) Anderson, Katherine Lowe and Becky Cummings as well as cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Duane and Donna Helms and Del and Mary Mueller.
Funeral Services will be held at the Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jesse Stevens officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom.
The family would like to thank the Platteville First Responders and Police as well as the Baraboo Police Department.

We did not know Hallie. However, her grandmother, Donna Helms, worked in the powder lab with me (Carolyn) at BadgerAAP. Donna also was part of our car pool for years. She spoke with family love for her young children, Dana, Dori, and Darin. I felt like I knew them. It seems Hallie inherited much of Donna's determination. Our thoughts and prayers are for Darin and Mariam. We share your grief especially because, like you, we lost our 28 year old daughter unexpectedly to a medical issue.
