Timothy Joseph Schuebel passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025 after a short illness.
He was born November 11, 1950 in Platteville Wisconsin, the eldest son of Harold and Nona (Lucas) Schuebel. Tim was a lifelong resident of Baraboo, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of the Baraboo High School class of 1969. He attended Marquette University and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Tim became a partner at Dental Associates of Baraboo, retiring in 2016.
He was united in marriage to Susan Lee on October 13, 1989 (Friday the13th).
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Tim was kind and thoughtful, always sending birthday cards, greetings and delivering bittersweet to friends in the fall. Tim enjoyed going to “The Ranch” and spending time with his good friends. His many lifelong friendships were important. His caring spirit was shared through volunteering. He travelled to Honduras, St. Lucia, Venezuela and New Orleans (after Katrina) to provide dental care for those in need. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Vincent de Paul.

I have known Tim basically my whole life. We share a birthday by one day and several of his family members were classmates of my siblings. Tim was also my lifelong dentist. I spent a lot of time in Tim’s care and always knew he was giving me the best treatment possible. I didn’t fear the dentist’s office because of Dr. Tim. Tim was a stand up guy and while not always easy to ‘open up,’ once he got going, the words just flowed. We always had fun discussing the latest family events and goings on. I will always remember Tim as kind-hearted, genuine and a true gentleman. Rest easy, my friend, and those who knew you can count themselves blessed.

My mother, Kathy Meyer, was one of Tim's dental assistants. Their friendship remained strong after her retirement. He would stop just to say Hi ,drop off bittersweet or attendher birthday parties. He was kind enough to pay her a visit in her last week of life. Tim was a very special man who will be missed by many.
