Rochelle M. Vickio, age 86 of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at St. Clare Hospital with family by her side.
Rochelle, daughter of Byron and Evelyn (Derosier) Kadletz was born on March 26, 1938 in Wakefield, MI. Rochelle was one of 11 children and grew up in Glidden, WI. She married William “Bill” Vickio on June 29, 1957 in Waukegan, IL; they spent 57 years together until his death in 2014. Throughout the years, she enjoyed the casino, spending time with her family, watching news and Sunday Packer Games.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Colleen) Vickio; daughters, Pat (Steve) Gavin and Michele (Jim) Vershowske; grandchildren, Angela (Dan Schubert) Vickio, Tony Vickio, Jamie (Chrissy) Gavin, Jennifer (Adam Chilson) Gavin, Rachel (Tanner) Kaczmarek, Jessey (Dan) Jones, and Tyler Vershowske; great-granddaughter, Emma Chilson; two sisters; other relatives and dear friends.
Rochelle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, and eight of her brothers and sisters.
A private, family gathering will be held at a later date.
