Nicolet Ivy Bruch

October 21, 2024 --February 17, 2025

Nicolet Ivy Bruch, left us too early on Monday, February 17, 2025 at UW/American Family Children’s Hospital. Nicolet, daughter of Eric and Shauna (Filo) Bruch was born on October 21, 2024.

Nicolet was a very special soul. She experienced and endured a lot in such a short period of time. Her sweet, fighting spirit touched a lot of lives. Though she had things stacked against her, that only made her stronger and she defied the odds. She is in fact rare. Some would even say Extra! She was a special gift to all who knew her, and she had a lot of love to share. She fought hard to be here and stayed strong throughout. Her life is a true miracle. Her life was far too short, by our estimation, but she lived a beautiful life. We are all Proud and Honored to call her our daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. May her life earth side always be a happy mark in this world, and her memory live on forever, in all the hearts that she touched.

To our sweet “Baby Pecan” “Nicole-e-et", “sissy” “sweet girl”, “sugar beans”, “baby girl...” thank you for joining our family, and giving us so much joy and love. We will love you Always, and Forever, and you will never be forgotten. Your mark in this world will never diminish.

Nicolet is survived by her loving parents, Eric and Shauna; the best big sister, Autumn; Nana, Papa, Grandpa Phil, Grandma Jan, Uncle Jason and Aunt Nan( Jadon-Kadon-Ana), Auntie Stephie and Uncle Ben (Olivia-Ben-Lynnie), Auntie Justine(Tyler and Raven (Lyla River), Aunt Michelle (Jacob), Aunt Mary, Auntie Saundra ( Ryan- Nicholas ) and other Aunts, cousins and countless members of the body of Christ who we count as family.

Nicolet was preceded in death by her Sibling Sam, Grandpa Bob, Grandma Barb, Great Grandma Mary, Great Grandpa Rudy, Great Grandma Shirley, Great Grandpa Seth, Great Grandma Vercie, Great Grandpa Warren, Grandpa Jim and Grandma Dolores Madison, Great Grandma Ella, Great Grandpa Francis, Aunt Dorrie, and other Uncles, Aunts and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Walnut Hill Bible Church with Pastor Dan Gunderson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Nicolet’s Mama and Daddy want to especially thank all the staff, Doctors, and Nurses involved in Nicolet’s care at Sauk Prairie Hospital and Clinic, The Meriter Hospital NICU, AFCH NICU, AFCH PICU, Reedsburg Area Medical Center, and Sauk County Birth to 3, as well as all the people who run Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison WI., as well as the Baraboo PD and Paramedics.

Daniel and I have been praying so much for you! My heart broke for you when I heard of little Nicolet's homegoing. How happy she is now to be in Jesus' arms! We will all meet again, and what a wonderful reunion that will be <3
