Edward F. Paukstat , Age 73
Edward F. Paukstat, age 73, of Reedsburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 with family by his side.
Edward was born on October 31, 1951 to Ernest and June (Brown) Paukstat in Oshkosh. He graduated from Reedsburg High School, Class of 1970. He attended UW-Platteville, where he met his wife and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education. Edd married Cynthia Meyer on June 14, 1975 in Manitowoc, together they had two children. He taught math and social studies at Slinger Middle School. Edd enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling with Cindy, especially going to different casinos. They spent a lot of time on the road and playing Yahtzee.
Edd is survived by his children, Ryan (Jenn) Paukstat, Sara Paukstat; brothers, William Paukstat, Al (Janice) Paukstat and Justin (Becky) Phippen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Ernest, his wife of 48 years, Cynthia, and his brother, Jim Paukstat.
A Celebration of Life will be held and announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Edd’s name to Agrace Hospice.

Mr. Paukstat was my favorite 6th grade teacher back in the mid 90's. I remember him well. He had the best personality and always put a smile on my face. My condolences to Edd's family for their loss.
