Judith `Judy` Huinker , Age 75

Judith “Judy” Huinker, age 75, of Baraboo died peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 9, 2024.

Judy, daughter of Lelsie and Nelva (Breckler) Baker, was born on November 8, 1948.  She married the love of her life, Michael Huinker, on August 17, 1968. They spent 55 wonderful years together, raising two children, Michelle and Bryan. Judy worked for 36 years as the secretary of Huinker’s Body Shop.

She kept busy, enjoying her garden as well as canning and cooking.  She also took pleasure in fishing, motorcycling, bowling, and playing and coaching softball. Most of all, Judy loved being a mom and grandma to her grandchildren Chase and Hattie.

She is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter Michelle, (Dan) Dietz; son, Bryan Huinker; and grandchildren, Chase Pierce and Hattie Huinker.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-laws, Don and Dorthy Huinker.

Per Judy’s request, there will be no services.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Baraboo, WI.

Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
