Connie A. Nimmow

Connie A. Nimmow, age 77, formerly of Baraboo, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 30, 2024 with family by her side.

Connie, daughter of Thomas and Eunice (Spradlin) Baker, was born on August 2, 1946, in Arkansas. She married Norman R. Nimmow on December 4, 1965 in Granite City, Illinois. Connie worked at Flambeau in Baraboo for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed having family visits, especially with her grandkids and great grandkids, sitting outside and watching nature and planting and tending her flowers.

Connie is survived by her husband, Norman of Casa de Oakes Nursing Home in Reedsburg; their children, Tina Hedtcke of Baraboo, Patrick Nimmow of Baraboo; grandchildren, Tyler and Asha Urben, Jonah, Caleb, and Anna Nimmow; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Gladden and Peyton Brandt; niece, Karen (Frank) Schwarzkopf of Granite City, IL.; cousin, Terry (Gaye) Spradlin of Walnut Ridge, AR, and other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Thomas and Eunice Baker, Connie was preceded in death by her sisters, Yvonne Varner and Audrey Price and her brother, Otis Baker.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Weiss of Reedsburg Bible Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be private.
