Raymond F. `Ray` Seiler

Raymond F. “Ray” Seiler, age 82, of Baraboo, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, February 26, 2024 at home.

Raymond, son of Louis and Phyllis (Storandt) Seiler was born October 29, 1941. Ray was a graduate of Portage High School and furthered his studies by obtaining a communications degree. On June 13, 1964, he married June F. Anderson; she preceded him in death on July 9, 2017. He was employed for 37 years by CenturyTel as a technician. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, coin collecting, doing puzzles and watching wildlife.

He is survived by his children, Scott (Penny) Seiler of Baraboo and Krista (Chuck) Blake of Lone Rock; grandchildren, Paul, Kyle, CJ, Ben and Max; he is further survived by his siblings, Harold (Linda) Seiler, Herb (Dianne) Seiler, Sue Doyle; sisters-in-law, Peggy Seiler and Sharon (Morris) Kyser; brother-in-law, Romaine Klassy as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, June; one sister; two brothers; three sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.

A Celebration of Life with food, family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Ray's house at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
