Pamela `Pam` Karg , Age 74
BARABOO -- Pamela “Pam” I. Karg passed away at home on December 20, 2023.
Pam was born on June 14, 1949 to Kenneth G. and Jean A. (Running) Sorenson in Milwaukee, WI. Pam moved with her family to the Baraboo area in 1964, where she attended school and graduated from BSH in 1967. Pam was united in marriage to Bill Karg on April 17, 1971 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. They were blessed with a daughter Sarah and son Adam.
Pam attended Teacher’s College and was a computer teacher at East School for many years, later retiring to become a “granny nanny”. Pam was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Sarah (Jim) Ahrensmeyer and Adam (Tina) Karg; grandsons, William and Eli Karg; sisters, Sandy (Gary), Kristi (Keith), Teresa (Greg), Jill (Rick) and Gwen; brothers, Ken (Jeaunne), John, and Greg; brother-in-law, Gary Karg and many other family and friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jeffrey and brother-in-law, Wayne Karg.
A funeral service will be held on December 28, 2023 at 11:00am at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Baraboo.
Memorials may be to made to St. John’s Lutheran School, UW Carbone Center, Agrace Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.

I am so sorry to hear about Pam passing. I talked her awhile ago when I was with my Mother at a Dr. Appt. She told me then she was not in good health. She was a lovely and gracious person taken way too soon from her family and friends. Rest in peace, Pam. You will be missed.
