Barbara Jean Rabuck , Age 86

Barbara Jean Rabuck, age 86, passed away September 25, 2023, at Meadow View Memory Care, in Baraboo. Barbara was born to Bernard and Clara (Feltz) Winter on April 6, 1937, in Denver, Colorado. Barbara married Clifford Earl Rabuck on June 30, 1962, in Lodi at the First Lutheran Church, they renewed their vows at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo in 1982.

She is survived by her husband Clifford; sons, Raymond Rabuck of Baraboo, and Daniel Rabuck of El Paso, TX; sister, Virginia (Dave) Behn of Baraboo; niece, Emily Behn of Wisconsin Dells; nephew; Thomas Behn of Green Bay as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Mary Ann Winters.

Barbara worked for many local establishments including Darrow's, Pierce's, the Alpine, and Isenbergs, to name a few. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 26. Barbara liked reading, cooking, traveling by bike, then later in life on bus tours, and then small day trips.

The family would like to thank Meadow View Memory Care and SSM Home Health Hospice for the care shown to Barbara and her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at St. Joesph Catholic Church with Father Luke Powers officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at the church. A private inurnment will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.

I use to work with Barb at Darrows. I always told her she was my friend from Darrows when I was talking with her at Meadow View. She was a very sweet lady. Will miss her dearly. Hugs to her sweet husband Cliff. Take care to all.
