Paul Cripe , Age 61

Paul Cripe, age 61, of Merrimac, WI passed away of a heart attack on September 11, 2023. Paul, son of Ken Cripe and Barbara Van Alstine was born on May 13, 1962. He married the love of his life, Rita, on December 8^th, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Paul worked as an excellent meat cutter all his life. He enjoyed spending his free time with family and friends. He loved to boat and fish and will be remembered as a wonderful cook.

He is survived by his wife Rita, mother Barbara, father Bernard Van Alstine, sisters Kendra (Larry) Souther, and Cheyanne (Jeff) Dix, and brothers Cody (Brittany) Van Alstine, and Wyatt Van Alstine

He was preceded in death by his father Ken Cripe, and brother Patrick Cripe.

Per Pauls wishes, no services will be held.

Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.

I will miss you my Paulie. I remember the summers Janet and i would go up north to stay with you ,patrick and kendra. those were the best summers of my life. You were so much a big part of my childhood and just a big part of my life. A few years ago you asked me to come work with you and i wished i had(things didn't work out like we planned) . You always called me Jules and i loved that, I will miss you but not forget you. Say hi to Patrick and my dad for me, Love ya kiddo

Paulie, my little brother, cousin, I will always love you and the times we had as kids in Spring Green and at Grandma Schuetzs house. One of my favorite memories is when you told Nancie, Pat,and Jamie your version of the scary story of Johnny, and when living in Spring Green and making our own 4th of July fireworks show with my moms Christmas ornaments and my brother's gun powder. You had the most amazing laugh and great sense of humor. You never loved halfway it was always with your whole heart. This is not good bye but farewell. Kiss Pat,Grandma and my parents for me. Until we meet again my dear friend, I love you, Patti
