Patricia Ann `Patti` Astle , Age 83
Patricia Ann "Patti" Astle, age 83, of Baraboo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at St. Clare Hospital. Patti, daughter of Everette and Marie Newell was born August 28, 1939. She was a graduate of Baraboo High School, Class of 1957. On August 27, 1960 she was united in marriage to Neal Astle. Patti worked as a teller at First National Bank and was a secretary for Farm Bureau to name a few. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. Patti taught Junior Bowling at the Elks Club for many years. Family will remember Patti for her laughter and wit.
Survivors include her loving husband, Neal; son, Jim (Karla Uptagraw); granddaughters, Katie (Tommy) and Nichole (Michael); great-grandson, Liam James; sisters, Jane (Duane) Quam, Lisa (Scott) Smrz; brothers, Roger (Mary) Brockman, Rick (Margy) Brockman, Ron Brockman; sister-in-law, Sharon Crahen; brother-in-law, Phillip Astle as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Robert and Ella Astle; brother and sisters-in-law, Dennis Crahen and Karen Astle; brothers, Gary Brockman, Jim Brockman, Greg Newell; daughter, Paula Jean and her son, Mark.
Funeral Services for Patti will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. To help honor Patti, please come dressed in your favorite Packer or Badger gear.

I was so sorry to hear of Patti's unexpected passing. My condolences to Neal and all the family. What a hard time. She was a dear friend to my mom, someone I've known all my life, and with a heart of gold. She loved her family fiercely.
