Robert D. Young

Robert D. Young, age 89, of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at home. Robert, son of John and Helen (Wretland) Young was born Feb. 21, 1934. On Sept. 10, 1955 he was united in marriage to Helen Amyotte. Robert and Helen owned Youngs Doodle Dandy for many years.

Survivors include his loving son, Robert "Bobby", Jr.; grandson, Joshua (Terra) Ringham great-grandson, Wyatt; great-granddaughter, Kielly as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen; and daughter, Shelly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
