Brian Thomas Kettner, age 64, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Montello Care Center with family by his side. Brian, son of Thomas and Marlene (Visocky) Kettner was born June 27, 1958 in Great Lakes, Illinois. On May 21, 1983 he was united in marriage to Pearl Huefner at St. Barnabas in Mazomanie. Brian worked in maintenance in the Baraboo area for many years until his retirement. In his free time, he liked to hunt, fish, camp and do woodworking. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pearl; sons, Andrew (significant other, Lindsay Patterson) and Matthew Kettner; mother, Marlene Kettner; siblings, Gail (Jeff) Hilleshiem, Brad (Debby) Kettner, Chris (Paula Krause) Kettner, and Lori (Derek) Jacobson; brothers-in-law, Pete and Dave (Carol) Huefner as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas, in-laws, Pat and Bob Huefner and both sets of grandparents.
A prayer service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
