Marijane Ragan , Age 60


November 12, 1961 --September 27, 2022

Marijane (Perez) Ragan passed away Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo.

Marijane was born November 12th,1961 to Jane (Hoege) Perry of Baraboo Wisconsin. As a child, she attended the Baraboo School district and enjoyed participating in 4-H. She enjoyed leatherworking and helped to care for her younger brother. As a teen, Marijane attended Baraboo High School. She loved fast cars, rock music, and reading in her free time. At 17 she moved to Texas and met the love of her life Charles Ragan. The two married and went on to have 3 daughters, 9 grandchildren, and countless rescue animals along the way.

Over the years, Marijane volunteered at Nan Gray Davis Elementary School where her children attended, and later went to manage The Camp Dakoda Campground in Portage, Wisconsin during the summers. She also worked at Flambeau Plastics for many years as a quality inspector and Union Steward After the birth of her first grandchild, she stayed home to provide full-time daycare for her daughters.She spent her free time in recent years crafting, reading and spending time with her family.

Marijane is survived by her mother, Jane (Hoege) Perry; brother, Frankie Perez; husband, Charles Ragan; daughters, Amanda Ragan (David), Kelly Ragan- Paske (Jeremy), Brandy Ragan-Weihert (Ricky) and grandchildren, Ryan, Cole, Rocky, Rusty, Kebbie, Tristan, Preston, Sabrina and Richard.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Stewart and Arleen Hoege and cousin, Ronnie Hoege.
