Tracie Lange , Age 49

June 02, 1972 --February 19, 2022

Tracie Lange, 49 of Baraboo, was born on June 2nd, 1972 and passed away on February 19th, 2022. Survived by her father Douglas Lange of Baraboo, and her Mother Karen Lange of Baraboo. God-parents Tony Wedekind and Vicky Laurent.

She will be deeply missed by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was her wish to have all her cousins be listed as honorary pallbearers.

Tracie Lange was an amazing daughter, whose life was filled with so much joy and love. She was an inspiration to her mother, friends, and family. Tracies fondest moments was the ones spent with her mother. She would quite often speak of their many trips and wonderful adventures.

Tracies time spent with her dad was special as well. Their favorite thing to do was to take Radley for a car ride, where the main goal was to see the turkey vultures.

She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. Tracie gave so much to so many people. Tracie always had an amazing outlook on life. Everything she did was done with gusto and to the fullest, giving it her all. Tracie was always there to help others, no matter what. She never asked why she just offered a non-judging helping hand.

Some of Tracies happiest moments was when she was traveling. NASCAR races was always number one of her preferred places to go. Of all the racetracks, Charlette Motor Speedway in North Carolina was most definitely her favorite, but nothing could top her trip to Jamaica with the Dale Earnhardt Jr Team. Where she got to meet Dale and spend time with him. But let us not forget her current love of cars which include Ferraris.

Tracie recently developed an interest in the Gangster Era and Al Capone. She often loved traveling to Chicago to visit historic places and lets not forget a quick stop by the local speakeasy. Tracie had other loves as well, animals especially dogs would be at the top of that list. But nothing could ever replace the moments spent with Radley. Radley is a Scottish terrier with a very bold attitude! Radley was so spoiled from his Ferrari jackets to his hand delivered puppuccino drinks.

Tracie will be greatly missed by all who loved her. The only goal she did not achieve while here on the earth was to see Italy. However, I am positive that she is currently sitting drinking a glass of wine by the water in Venice planning out her trip to Monaco for the big race.

So the next time you see a black Scottish terrier walking down a sidewalk somewhere, a NASCAR Car speeding down a track, or a picture of Italy I hope that it brings wonderful memories of this amazing person Tracie Lange. As I am sure that will be her way of sending you love and hugs from heaven.

A Prayer Service will take place on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home with Father Luke Powers officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Karen and Doug, I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. Tracie had such a magical way of looking at the world and her engagement in it. I'll always respect that as I will her love of you both. May her memory bring you comfort and blessing. I'd like to share this memory from our childhood - On Friday nights, when we would come up for the weekend, Tracie and I would eat a whole can of black olives from our fingertips while always giving a few to my dog, Puffy, who Tracy loved, but Doug, not so much....
