I was Carolyn Schroeder. My family lived on the farm across from Pat's family in North Freedom. My folks referred to her as Patsy. She and her sisters babysat my brothers and me on those very rare occasions that both my parents and grandparents were out of town. I loved to see Pat and her sisters in skirts to their knees with billowing crinolines bouncing underneath, or long straight skirts to their knees. They tied scarves that complimented the colors in their skirts around their necks and wore saddle shoes and bobby socks. They were beautiful young ladies! Our sincere sympathy to Pat's family. Dear Friends, We are so very sorry for your loss. Pat was such a delightful person and such a competent and respected nurse. I recall Pat and my late mom, Barb Naidl, enjoying each other's company and their common history of being nurses. We hold you in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Due to COVID, we are limiting our time in indoor gatherings, so please know that we will hold you in our hearts even if we are not there in person to express our sorrow to you. Wishing you peace.
