Kamya R. Tofari

Kamya Riche Tofari (Wiener), age 20, of Reedsburg, passed away unexpectedly from Covid-19, on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center.

Kamya was born to Stephanie Tofari on May 7, 2001, in Madison, Wisconsin. Kamya graduated from Reedsburg High School in 2019. Kamya loved to play sports in high school, she was on the basketballteam, track andfield, and gymnastics. Kamya loved animals, she had a lot of them: 4 dogs, Humphrey, Oakley, Jaxx, Dozer, which she had with Preston Harshbarger. She also had a bearded dragon named Wilbert, and an axolotl named Henry, just to name a few. Kamya was pursuing her love for animals by becoming a vet tech. Kamya was also a caregiver, and a bartender in her free time. Kamya had 5 siblings and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She also loved being outside, taking her dogs for walks, hiking at Devil's Lake, and spending time with her family and friends. Especially her two best friends, Marley Powell and Morgan Drury.

Kamya was an amazing person, she had a heart of gold. A smile that could light up the room. Kamya always looked for the best in people, and every situation. Kamya always had a smile on her face even when times were hard. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out.

Kamya is survived by her 5 siblings, Hayden Tofari of Dodgeville, Ava Johnson of Wisconsin Dells, Mason Fry, Maddee Nimocks, and Trayvon Jones all of Reedsburg. She is further survived by two nieces, Realynn Tofari, and Kendyl Wineke; aunts, Heather Hamilton (Darren Voss), Holly Hamilton (Jeffrey Denman) of Baraboo; cousin Addison Hamilton-McArthur; Grandma, Valerie LeMoine of Reedsburg, and special friend, Evan Carlson (Evan Wevan) plus many other friends and family.

Kamya was precededin death by her best friend, dog Loki; her dad, Jason Nimocks; Nana, Cheryl Tofari, and her great grandma and Honey.

The Funeral will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, at Redlin- Ertz Funeral Home at 12, noon. Visitation will be held from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at BrewsterLane in Reedsburgat 3pm.
