Mark E. Lange

Mark E. Lange, age 62, of Montello, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. Mark, son of Oscar and Vera (Smith) Lange was born on Aug. 1, 1959 at St. Marys Hospital in Madison. Mark was the youngest of six, raised in the Middleton area. He was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1978. Mark worked in various factories in Middleton and after working for the Shaw Company he retired. On May 28, 1983 he was united in marriage to Anna Truehl at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Marxville, WI. In his free time, he enjoyed scroll sawing, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and feeding the birds.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anna; children, Jammie (Derek) Dzhugashbili of Hancock, Vermont, Joseph (Brenda) Lange of Poynette; granddaughter, Everly Lange; siblings, Gary Lange, Duane (Jackie) Lange; as well as sisters and brothers-in-law and Melinda (Mark) Ziegler, Theresa (Dale Schell) Truehl, Martha (John) Petry as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Leon Lange, Sharon (David) Applebaum and Diane Lange.

A family service will be held. Memorials may be made to the family. The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
