James `Jim` Ernest Hehenberger , Age 73

June 23, 1948 --August 05, 2021

On August 5, 2021 we lost our dear friend James "Jim" Ernest Hehenberger, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. Age 73, Jim passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Born June 23, 1948 to Howard and Doris Hehenberger in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Jim grew up attending Sauk Prairie Schools much to the comical dismay of several teachers and principals. As a young man Jim worked alongside his brother Mike and father Howard on a modest dairy farm. Jim loved the outdoors from a young age, especially during the fall.

Jim and Jenness "Jenny" met in July of 1966 in Edgar, WI and were married on October 14, 1967. As Jim and Jenny began their lives together, they welcomed daughters Kristie, Kimberly, Karina and Katresha. As the family grew the Hehenberger dairy farm was sold and in 1988 the couple began J & J Sales. Jim enjoyed meeting and conversing with area farmers and locals. His love for others grew the business for 33 years.

Jim chose to serve God in 1960 and was faithful in upholding his promise to our Heavenly Father. Jim and Jenny hosted fellowship meetings in their home which continued through his illnesses.

Jim is survived by his wife Jenness, daughters, Kristie (Randy) Killam, Kimberly (Tien) Tran, Karina (Larry) Clausen, Katresha (Aden) Morrison; siblings, Joanne (Goldman) Cothren, Mike (Mary) Hehenberger, Randy (Julie) Hehenberger, Jeanie Kamrath (Mark Rosenbaum); and his grandchildren, Stephanie (Joel) Doland, Austin Killam, Sabrina and Brittney Tran, Jaden, Mariah, and Ashton Clausen, Logan and Cameron Morrison; great-granddaughter, Devyn Doland; and many additional nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding Jim in his death are his parents; brothers-in-law, Carroll Andrews, and Phil Kamrath; and nephews, Darren, Ashton, and Nate.

A funeral service is being held Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center (626 W Pine Baraboo, WI 53913) at 12:00 p.m. The visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. A burial will be held at the Sauk Prairie Cemetery directly after the service at The Clarion. All are welcome to attend a lunch at the Clarion Hotel following the burial.

Sending our Deepest Sympathy to Jim's entire family. Apologize for not being there . We were out of the state and just got home. I was the babysitter for Jim and his peers for a long time. Have some great family memories. I spent many summers at Doris and Howards home. He may be gone but will never be forgotten. Bless all of you.
