The Willets were so kind to my family when we lived next door to them in Baraboo. A short time next door but continued friendship after we moved. They would stop by and give us a bag of clothes from their grandson. We loved to visit with them!! They are missed❤️

We lived across the alley from Bob and Mary for many years. What a delightful couple they were! They kept a beautiful garden. After they got their Prieus car, Bob like to surprise Dave with a sharp toot of the horn while Dave was busy working on a project. When our grandchildren went sliding down the alley after a horrendous snow storm, Mary and Bob trekked out to watch. She took a picture of Dave while he was making a snow angel for the kids. We used the picture on our Christmas card that year! One fall, we planted a new tree and left for Florida. Bob and Mary collected and mailed a bunch of colorful fall leaves from our tree to Florida, just so we could see what they looked like. They remembered Dave's Birthday. On April 21st, Dave always got a call. No one said anything, but this little music box started playing Happy Birthday. Then everyone had a good laugh and fun conversation.
