I had the privilege to be on the Sparta CO-OP board when Bruce was our general manager. His business knowledge and ability to work with people was second to none. I enjoyed stopping in to chat about CO-OP issues but no matter how business-like the conversation was he would always take the time to just shoot the breeze about anything that was on our minds. These meetings would always include that infectious smile and laugh of his. Rest in peace Bruce!

Very sorry for your loss of Bruce. Working with Bruce as a patron and then as a Board Member of Sparta Co-Op when he became Manager, Bruce became a good friend and adviser. Bruce will be missed very much!

Myself and my wife, Kari, would like to extend our condolences to Bruce's family. I knew Bruce through the Wisconsin Holstein Association as I am an employee through that company and also knew Bruce from doing some work with him when he was working at the Sparta Co-op. Bruce actually helped my wife and I when we purchased a corn furnace for our home in Tomah. Please know that Bruce and his family our in our thoughts and prayers.

Although I had not seen Bruce much since high school, I remember him as being a very smart, caring person and of course a great athlete. At a class gathering 2 years ago, we had a nice talk reminiscing about our high school days. He will be missed.

To the family; parents and brothers. Bruce was one of my boys. Because of his athletic abilities he played on our EHS football team as a sophomore. My sincere sympathies are with you at this time. Coach Gene Staffen
