Mike---- I will definitely miss seeing Aunt Marie at family gatherings. I enjoyed visiting with you both and always had a few laughs. She enjoyed a great, full life. Somewhere, there will be a little piano playing and singing with my grandma and others now. Comfort and love to your family. Erica Deitelhoff

Dear Great Auntie Marie's family-Oh my heart aches tonight. She, much like my grandma Florence, was one heck of a lady. I enjoyed visiting her many times over the years. A few that stand out where when I lived in Baraboo and we attend a polka band on the square--she was one of the first ones up dancing and tapping her feet-and singing all the songs in German with the band! That was the late 90's. Then after my grandma passed away-I visited a few times with her an Uncle Mike in Baraboo with my kids. It was always a wonderful visit and I even got some zucchini recipes one year-which are tucked away. We exchanged Christmas cards and I always enjoyed her words. Again, much like my grandma, Marie had great old words of wisdom and mom advice to share! My last wonderful memories of her were at the weddings of two of my cousins in recent years. We had a few beers, and at one of them she knew the band! (go figure!). The world has a little less cheer and a little less music this week, but the heavens are a polka party and a family reunion for sure is taking place. I know she was welcomed with open arms by all her siblings and their spouses. Many hugs to Great Uncle Mike--he is one hell of a guy too!! I raise a Blackberry sour in honor of one great lady!!! May memories flow this week for you all. Love Dionne (Dennis's Daughter)

Dear Dwyer family our condolences at the loss of your Mom. God bless you all at this difficult time. We know that losing a parent at any age is not easy but we want to commend you for doing such a great job raising such a good mom, grandmother and great grandmother. I (John) have fond memories of her hospitality while visiting at her home near Loretto for 4H. Enjoy your many good memories of her. We just made a gift to St. Patrick's in her name.
