Gary E. Zimmerman, age 70, of Reedsburg, WI passed away on Monday December 14, 2020 at Gunderson Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, WI. He was born to parents Lorenz and Marie (Steinhorst) Zimmerman on August 22, 1950 in Baraboo, WI.
Gary liked farming, deer hunting, fishing, bear hunting, raising cattle, and working on machinery.
On July 12, 1977, Gary married Larita Provorse in Baraboo, WI.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Larita Zimmerman; sons, Kurt Potter, Chris Potter, Jason Zimmerman; step-daughter Jane Westfall; grandchildren, Autumn Zimmerman, Alex Westfall, Brandon Westfall, Miles Potter, Zoe Potter, Liam Potter; siblings, David Zimmerman, Kay Zimmerman, Joy Zimmerman, Marsha Zimmerman; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A private family memorial is being held.
