Dear Bill, Mike and I are deeply saddened by Mary's death. I will hold the memories we shared together close to my heart. As a young girl going to your wedding was like a fairy tale. Boating on the Mississippi, visiting you in Berlin, our family reunion visit to the Dells - so many memories in such a fleeting moment. I wish we could be there for Mary's Celebration of Life. She really was the definition of family - always so warm and welcoming. As Debbie and Jeanie have said many times - she treated like us like sisters - especially the older ones. May you, the kids and grandkids find comfort in your memories during this difficult time, my prayers are with you. Love you... Dizy

Uncle Bill and family, Larry and I are so sorry to hear about Aunt Mary. I have so many memories, way to many to list here. Mary was a big sister that I never had. I remember her high school days, she was one of the COOL girls. Taught me how to ride a bike, sleep overs with her at Grandma Banks house a lot, family dinners, Devils Lake at the Eder Cabin, your wedding at St. Joseph with the reception in the cafeteria. Later on I remember after we moved to Davenport your family stopped by for a visit on your way to Florida. Again, we send our condolences to one and all. Love Debbie

What can I say about my dear sister Mary! Well, she made an impacting difference in mine and Diane's life as she did with all who had the good fortune to know her. She was a delight to be around, always optimistic and so positive about everything that mattered in life. She was sweet, humorous and heartily honest. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Mary was a rare bright light in an often-hazy world. Her memory is with us always. Our condolences to Bill and family. With love and prayers, John & Diane

Bill, I just heard from Dale about Mary's passing. I am so sorry. I remember when you guys lived in the neighborhood and she was such fun despite all the problems she dealt with. My wife, Mary Ann, is in assisted living with dementia. Life can be cruel, but we have to accept the hands we're dealt with. You take care.
