Patrick Morton Coleman

Patrick Morton Coleman, age 76 of Baraboo, passed away on June 6, 2019 at St. Clare Hospital. He was born November 16, 1942 to parents John and Hazel (Higley) Coleman in Illinois.On May 30, 1963 Patrick married Roberta Gartner at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Warren, IL. He worked for R. E. Cox Construction in Lena, IL for 42 years as a heavy equipment operator. He was a lifetime member of the local 150 Operating AFL-CIO Engineers and Lions club members. He was a huge John Wayne fan, avid Cubs fan and Chicago Bears fan. He was the king of fixing anything, and he was an amazing husband, father and friend.He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandma and grandpa Higley, his parents-in-law Bob and Elayne Gartner.He is survived by his wife, Roberta; children, Mike (Carolyn) Coleman, Brooke (Seth) Patin; grandchildren, Drake Coleman, Dana Coleman, Emma Patin, Natalie, Patin, Lily Patin; his siblings, Jacquie Woodley, Debbie Urnikis, Kevin Coleman, Susan Coleman, Sean Coleman; and other relatives and friends.A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday June, 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery following the service.
