Ruth Lorraine (Hewitt) Hein Hillebold

Ruth Lorraine (Hewitt) Hein Hillebold, age 92 of Baraboo, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at St. Clare Meadows Care Center. Ruth was born in Baraboo, on November 8, 1926 to parents Fred and Fanny (Smith) Hewitt. She attended Baraboo High School, and then worked in the Sauk Prairie School District for 25 years and at St. Clare Meadows for 15 years.In her spare time, Ruth loved to play cards, slot machines, socializing and spending time with friends. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Merrimac, WI.Ruth is survived by her children, Donna (Timothy) Olsen, Gene Hein; daughter-in-law, Elsa Hein, wife of James; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husbands, Donald Hein and Matthew Hillebold; stepson, James Hein; daughter-in-law, Gloria Hein; her brothers and sisters; and stepchildren, Joyce, Barbara, and Bob.A funeral service will take place at Redlin Funeral Home on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roxi Gnatzig officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. till the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Merrimac, WI following the service.
