Description	Bill was a close friend and flew hundreds of ours together out of Barbers Point Naval Air Station. As young men, we spent many hours on the beaches of Oahu. Bill was an exceptionally fine person of the highest character. It does not surprise me to read of his love for our Lord. At 87 myself, I look forward to flying with Bill throughout the New Heavens and wandering the beaches on His New Earth. Bill and I will share many memories made over 60 years ago. What a joy to have called Bill, my friend and flight crew mate. Larry Bruce
